Current Public Improvements

1. M-15 Project - A resurfacing project on M-15 from Wolf Road north to Ray Road will begin in June of 2012. The project will include a 1.5" mill and resurface with fiber reinforcement of the existing pavement and American with Disabilities sidewalk upgrades at signalized and unsignalized intersections. Traffic signals will be modernized at the M-15/Mill street and the M-15/South Street intersections. 
2. Possible Sewer Project - Brandon Township, in coordination with the Village of Ortonville, has been researching the construction of a sewer system for the Village of Ortonville and a defined district within the Township. The sewer district in the Township would include the M-15 corridor and the area around Bald Eagle Lake and Lake Louise. The possibility of tying into the sewer in southern Oakland County has been examined and was found not be feasible. The second possibility of tying into the sewer system to the north within Genesee County was also found not to be feasible at this time. The Township and Village are continuing to study all other viable options.
