Additional Activities

Computers– Volunteers are available to answer or solve computer-related questions or problems at the EBSC every Tuesday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. If you are a Brandon or Groveland Township senior resident and would like a free computer, you can sign up for one on the list posted at the senior center. There are also five computers available for seniors to use. All of the computers are connected to the Internet and are loaded with MS Office, games, a greeting card program and software to burn music and data discs.

Computer Shed - The EBSC has a shed on the back parking lot to recycle computers and keyboards, monitors, printers, and other peripheral equipment. Anyone can drive up to the shed at any time to deposit items. If the equipment cannot be given free to seniors for reuse, it will be recycled and kept out of landfills where it would eventually poison the ground water.

Library – A large selection of books and audiotapes is available for borrowing or swapping at the EBSC library.

Volunteers - We need leaders to start clubs on photography, gardening, etc. If you have a talent you would like to share or teach others, or, if you can help deliver meals to homebound seniors, even one day a week from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM, please call Annette at 248.627.6447.
