Planning Commission

The Planning Commission meets on the second Tuesday of each month and schedules a second meeting on the fourth Tuesday of each month if necessary. Major responsibilities include the review and recommendation to the Township Board all rezoning requests and zoning ordinance amendments. They may also be called on by the Township Board to study proposals on other ordinances that impact land use in the Township. Other responsibilities include site plan review for all commercial and industrial development, residential site condos, and platted subdivisions.
