Medical Emergencies

Brandon Fire Department is licensed through the state of Michigan as an ALS (Advanced Life Support) transporting department. This means that the fire department can transport emergency medical patients to hospitals and provides advanced procedures such as IV therapy or drug therapy at the home or road side.

Medical Public Education

We offer CPR (adult, child & infant) and First Aid Classes. Call Captain / Medic Dan Flood for details. 

CPR classes are provided at Brandon High School.  The Classes are certified by the American Heart Association.  We certify over one hundred students annually using trained honor students as assistants.

The 5th and 6th grade students at Brandon Fletcher Intermediate School are provided respiratory classes (mouth to mouth) and how to provide assistance to a choking victim.
